20HP Integrated Compressor with Dryer and Tank

20HP Integrated Compressor with Dryer and Tank A 20HP integrated compressor is usually bought for the floor space it saves. The part that decides how well it actually runs is the air receiver, and in this machine the receiver is not an accessory. It is a 0.6 m³ vessel rated at 8 bar, sitting between the screw end and the outlet, and its size sets how often the compressor loads and unloads, how steady the pressure stays at the tools, and how much water reaches the line. Fit a receiver that is too small for the demand and a 15kw screw air compressor will cycle every few minutes, all shift long. The air path inside the cabinet runs compressor, then dryer, then receiver. That order is deliberate. Compressed air leaves the screw end hot and saturated, and the refrigerated dryer drops the moisture out before the air is stored. If the tank came first, it would collect that water instead, and a receiver sitting half full of condensate has less volume left to buffer pressure. Putting a screw…
